"Killing Me Zombie" BB Cream Review

For summer, I wanted a BB Cream. Since they are usually lightweight and contain SPF, it saves on having to layer foundation over sunscreen.
I've used other BB creams in the past, but that was some years ago now.

This one caught my eye, purely because it's called "Zombie" BB cream. And as an unabashed goth, I'm a sucker for anything monster themed.

This BB cream is lighter than most others I've come across, and so it suits me a lot better!
In the video I wore it without concealer or primer, and honestly it covered perfectly and felt smooth even without those.

What do you think?
Is there any motifs you can't resist?

Leave me a comment, and let me know!

Guro Lolita Outfit Planning

Since I've been clearing out my wardrobe lately, I thought it'd be ncie to lay out some outfits based around two dresses that I haven't worn much but still can't bring myself to sell.

I havent worn this dress since MCM Glasgow 2013.
Before I ever got it, it was one of my dream items for ages, because of the red on white colour scheme, at the time it was one of the only "guro" looking items around!
JSK: Angelic Pretty
Blouse: Metamorphose
Neck Bow : Angelic Pretty

Next is a more overtly Guro outfit, rather than Gurokawa.

I bought this BunnyAndBlack JSK in pre-orders, and it arrived in 2014.
But I never wore it, because it is much too big for me.
Still, I intend to have it fixed eventually....

JSK: BunnyAndBlack
Bonnet: Chantilly
Necklace: LowDownAndDandy

This one is shown without a blouse, but I would probably wear it with a red or one.

"Draw It Again" Art Challenge

A little while ago I made this post: Magical Medical Manga Monday
In which I re-drew an old art piece and really get to see how much you have improved in the time since drawing the original.
The image I re-worked back then had a companion piece, that I have also re-drawn now.
Only this time, I did it digitally. Since both my traditional and digital art have improved in the years since drawing the original.

(original drawn in pen and ink on paper.
New version drawn in Medibang Paint)

What is in a Gothic Lolita's bag?

Being quite a nosey person, I love watching "Whats In My Bag" videos!

A long while ago, I made one myself. But it was old, and crummy. So here's a brand new one.

I go through my two main handbags, the Alice and the Pirates Coffin bag that has been by my side for many years now.
And my slightly newer Rose Cross bag, that is a more practical shape.

I carry around a lot of strange things.
But don't we all?

Vintage Clothing Haul

Last weekend I went to a local Kilo Sale and picked up a whole lot of vintage clothing.

Tha idea behind the "Kilo Sale" is that you pay per kilogram of clothing.
So, no matter how many individual items you buy, you only pay per kilo.

It's a pretty good deal.

DIY Rainbow Highlighter (without Eyeshadow)

Everyone and their dog has gone nuts for Rainbow Highlighter. Since the BitterLaceBeauty version suddenly exploded across Instagram and then Youtube.
It's easy to see why too, it's gorgeous, and fun.

Of course, with any popular item on the internet, there is now also an influx of DIY versions.
Most of these involve smashing up eyeshadows and re-pressing them into a single pan. But I thought I'd make my own, from scratch, just like the eyeshadows I made last week.

I started out by mixing each individual color separately. (I'm using shot glasses)
Mica Powder, Alchohol, Glycerin, mixed into a paste.

Scoop the paste into the pan you want the Highlighter to be in,
(I'm using an empty Illamasqua compact)

Just like with the eyeshadows, once the Alcohol has evaporated, press it with a flat object wrapped in paper tissue.
Then leave it to set for 24 Hours!

I even had enough left over to make a few multi-colour eyeshadows.

Ruby and Diamond Shot Necklaces on LDD

A while ago, I created this Syringe Necklace for myself, that I wore for the first time in 2013.
A while later I created some pastel versions for sale in my Etsy store "LowDownAndDandy"

However, with the rise of "Menhera" and Guro fashions becoming more and more popular, I was inspired to re-visit these pieces and make some more.

(Here is a side-by-side of the Old 2013 version and the New 2016 version!)

Instead of crystal resin, this time the casing is full of small gemstone beads and glitter!
They also now feature a small droplet handing from the open end.

"Chateau Labiotte" Wine Lip Tint Review

This is another post I've been sitting on for a while.

When I first saw this product, I fell in love with it instantly. Purely because of the packaging. I know you shouldn't base your purchases on the packaging, but honestly, who doesn't?!

Video Review:

Read on:

I purchased mine on Ebay for roughly £10.
Not the craziest price for makeup ever, but still a little more than a tint is usually.

Isn't it cute?!

Unfortunately the actual product left a lot to be desired.
It was runny, and went on uneven. It stayed sticky for ages, then dried patchy.
It was also totally drying, and got quite painful on my lips.
It was very much a cheap lip tint, in a very expensive bottle.

Layered up, the colour is nice, and with a balm over it the dryness wouldn't be a problem.

And, you know... it's a tiny wine bottle!

It looks pretty good posed with this doll, doesn't it?

As disappointed as I was with the actual product, I'm still glad to own it, and have been able to try it for myself!
